Delete your data

Last updated: 2026-05-05

You can delete content you've created on eventist, unlink your Instagram account, or request that we erase your entire account record. The options below cover each case.

Disconnect Instagram (keeps your eventist account)

  1. Sign in to eventist and open /me.
  2. Under Connected accounts → Instagram, click Disconnect.
  3. The stored Instagram access token is deleted from our database immediately. We can no longer publish on your behalf or read anything from your Instagram account.
  4. You can also revoke eventist from your Instagram side: Instagram → Settings and privacy → Apps and websites → remove eventist.

Delete a single photo or event

Open the event, find the photo, use the per-photo menu to delete it. Event owners can also delete an entire event from the event page, which removes its photos, comments, likes, and reports.

Delete your entire account

To delete your eventist account and everything tied to it (events, photos, comments, likes, reports, linked Instagram tokens), email loftcustomweb@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with. Include the word "delete" in the subject line.

We process account deletion requests within 30 days. The deletion is permanent: rows are removed from our database, photo blobs are removed from Cloud Storage, and your Instagram link (if any) is dropped. Server logs older than 30 days are rotated out automatically.
