Terms of Service

eventist (the "Service") is provided as an MVP / demo service. By signing in you agree to the terms below. They are intentionally short.

1. Acceptable use

• Don't upload illegal content, content you don't have rights to, or content that violates someone else's privacy.
• Don't harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Don't use the Service to spam, scrape, or abuse third-party platforms (including Instagram) we integrate with.
• Respect the rules of any platform you publish to via eventist (in particular, Instagram's Community Guidelines).

We may suspend or remove accounts and content that break these rules.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content to the people you choose to share it with, and (only when you explicitly trigger it) to send a copy to Instagram on your behalf.

3. Third-party services

eventist relies on Google (sign-in), Meta / Instagram (optional publishing), and Google Cloud (hosting). When you use those features, those companies' own terms also apply.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without any warranty. We don't guarantee uptime, that your data won't be lost, or that bugs won't happen. Don't rely on eventist as your only copy of important photos.

5. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via /data-deletion. We may discontinue the Service entirely; if that happens we will try to give reasonable notice.
